MF's last flight !. BAC 1-11 G-AZMF arrived by road at Newcastle Airport on the early evening of Saturday 29th November and is seen here being unloaded from the low-loader this morning prior to being moved inside the Newcastle Aviation Academy building.

The aircraft holds a significant place in Newcastle Airport history, having flown the last British Caledonian Airways Newcastle-Amsterdam scheduled service on 29th September 1984. Its last visit to Newcastle Airport was on Sunday 2nd March 1997 when it flew a passenger charter inbound from Rotterdam for European Air Charter.
