Operating a sub-charter for easyJet this evening was Sky Wings Airlines of Greece Douglas MD.83 SX-BSW, which positioned in from East Midlands to fly the carrier's Palma rotation. The aeroplane, which had visited Newcastle Airport previously wearing two previous registrations, G-RJER of Airtours the last time during 1996, and TC-FBT of Freebird only once on 20th August 2004, operates as UK Jet on behalf of Excel Airways hence the XL.com titles on the engine cowlings.
