Summer charter season begins today with the associated increase in based charter aircraft and visiting foreign and UK operators. After one of the worst months I can remember, an extremely quiet April, here's hoping this traffic provides some much needed interest for the enthusiast in the coming weeks/months.
These machines are sure to figure in that interest, the new CFM-powered 'single-aisle' Airbus' presently being delivered to My Travel Airways. At present we have two such aircraft based, A.320s G-DHRG (seen here) and G-SUEW ... one of these becomes an A.321 for the remainder of the summer on 20th May. Have a great summer everyone, whether here at Newcastle or on your travels .....
