Ilyushin Il-76s have been regular sights at Newcastle Airport for a few weeks now, but we've never had two on the ground at the same time. The now regular UR-UCQ of Ukrainian Cargo Airways was joined early this morning by 4K-AZ16 of Azerbaijan Cargo - the aircraft still wore its previous identity UK-76410 (I'd actually seen the machine before as this !) on the wing upper surfaces. Both departed in the space of seventeen minutes just after mid-day. |
